Kniha: Michael Jackson: The Auction v anglickom jazyku

Po prvý raz vychádzajú na svetlo sveta doposiaľ nepublikované kráľa popu Michaela Jacksona, ktoré pre neho v tajnosti pripravil v júli 1999 23-ročný francúzsky fotograf Arno Bani. Vyše sedemsto snímkov bolo určených pre album Invincible (2001). Vydavateľ nakoniec fotografie odmietol a nahradil ich inými.

Kniha predchádza aukciu týchto fotografii, ktorú pripravuje Pierre Bergé, a mala by sa uskutočniť v Paríži December tohto roku.

In July 1999 Michael Jackson summoned the 23-year-old French photographer Arno Bani to a secret photo shoot, having seen and admired his photographs in the Sunday Times fashion pages. 700 photographs were the result, originally intended for the cover of Jackson`s 2001 album Invincible, but ultimately rejected by his record company in favour of less challenging artwork.

Nothing of this extraordinary cache of images has ever been seen by the public - until now. Published in advance of the Pierre Bergé auction of the photos in Paris in December 2010, which is guaranteed to receive worldwide
media attention, this book offers the world first sight of the entire collection of portraits, as well as all the contact sheets, annotated by Jackson himself.
