It is a fact/fiction account of workers employed on the construction of the Mount Pleasant airfield in the Falkland Islands in the South Atlantic Ocean in the 1980's after the conflict there and then follows the fortunes of some of the workforce who move on to work in the warmer climes of Algeria North Africa.
