O knihe

Here is an exciting and humorous life adventure of a man born in Paterson, New Jersey in a struggling family in 1927, and stricken with Polio at the age of two who eventually becomes an international entrepreneur traveling to 80 countries. David Wain was one of the first businessmen to venture into China and Korea in the 1960s. Mr. Wain founded the Cardinal Glove Company in Newark, New Jersey that by the 1970s owned factories all over the world making cotton gloves and leather industrial gloves. His customers included General Motors and Seven Eleven. Mr. Wain also had three marriages and three children. In this book you will travel as far back as the 1930s and hear entertaining stories of the journey of a unique and cavalier man that spans across the world. These stories range from grade school memories, romping with his buddies in his teens, working many different jobs, starting his own glove business, traveling with his workers to see Martin Luther King, growing an international business and raising children. Hold onto your seat: it is going to be a bumpy ride!
