Excerpt: Carlos Enrique Prado Herrera (born January 7, 1978 in Havana, Cuba) is a Cuban contemporary artist. He has different art works made in sculpture, ceramic, drawing, digital art, performance, installations and interventions. Since 2002 until now, he works as a professor in the University of Arts of Cuba (Higher Institute of Arts -ISA), where he also is the Head of the Sculpture Program. Member of the National Association of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC). He lives and works in Havana. Monument, 2007. Collection National Museum of Ceramic, La Habana. Assistant Professor of Sculpture and Ceramic in the Visual Arts School at the University of Arts of Cuba -ISA, from 2002 to nowadays. He imparts the Fundamental Workshop of Sculpture in different academic levels and the optional workshop "The personal project in ceramic." He has also been tribunal in the admition exams and in graduation thesis. Head of the Sculpture Program of the Visual Art School since 2006.
