Furthermore demand in road freight transport is constantly increasing thus leading to soaring freight rates. As a consequence, this book is dealing with a two- way approach to anticipate capacity bottlenecks in European Road Freight Transportation. First, the visualization of the source & sink problem (flow analysis) and second the conception of a pre-warn system based on a set of indicators.
