This book is full of 40 memoirs that I have written with the hope of creating a picture in your heart and mind of a place, a time, a moment, or a reflective thought; it also describes the way in which the accompanying poem was inspired. I spent six months writing GOD & COFFEE: in that order; I spent seven months reading my Bible and finding Scripture that matched the theme of each short chapter. This book represents a time in my life when the voice of God became less quite, the demands of my days became louder, and the coffee I drank became bolder with each pot that was brewed. GOO & COFFEE: in that order is about priorities and goals, about life and its struggles, but more importantly, it is a book about God's faithfulness.
