There are several ways of writing a book on "Textbook of Medical Sociology and Medical Anthropology". One is to treat each of a number of individual authors separately. The advantage of this is that one can assess each idea as part of a total system. The disadvantage is that one must expound and assess detailed arguments, some of which may be neither original nor particularly interesting.
