Thomas Hong was only in the second grade when the Korean War broke out. Although faced with many difficulties, including being orphaned and moving to another country, he studied and eventually graduated from the university. He earned a Ph.D. at age 70, all the while battling colon cancer.
Dr. Hong is a survivor, and although the world around him was falling apart, he achieved his life's goal and hopes that his memoirs will inspire others to achieve their goals, too. Through endurance, persistence and determination, anyone can mend their wings and live their dreams.

Dr. Thomas Hong was born in a small farming village in North Korea and moved to South Korea during the Korean War as an orphan. He is the CEO of his own company and now resides in Toronto, Canada.
