The local curriculum is a comprehensive form of education, through a pedagogical process which is participatory and relevant, seeking to create in the student an awareness of the problems which are of general concern to the community around him as well as to other places. In this sense, the participation of the community is fundamental, as it can define what it would like its children to learn.
