This book suggests that the history and theory of Israeli foreign policy challenge many of the popular assumptions of American grand strategy theory. Focusing on the tenure of Prime Minister Menachem Begin (1977-83), this study suggests why Israeli foreign relations are conceptually distinct from many of grand strategy's core assumptions.
