This book is important to me for two reasons. First, it's that I clear my name and set straight some of the unjust accusations that have been made against me. I have been arrested and jailed for alleged crimes that there is no law against. I have been harassed by local law enforcement and ridiculed in the press. My neighbors of many years now turn away from me or pretend that I am invisible. Even my family has largely deserted me. I regularly receive prank phone calls and threatening letters. I am, at this time, being stalked, and the police refuse to do anything about it.
It is also important that I write this book because it is about domination, a form of therapy that is widely desired, uniformly helpful, but grossly misunderstood. I wish to educate the public about who and what this dominatrix is all about, her slave relationships, and the complex process of domination therapy.
A dominatrix reverses the usual adult roles. I'm a very dominant and aggressive woman. I'm also a perfectionist who still gets things done in a timely manner. I expect people around me to be the same way. That's where slaves come in. They do exactly what I want them to do; they do things when I ask, they do them quickly, and they do them very well. It gives me a great rush of power to control men, to have them where they should be-at my feet.
