O knihe
In present Knowledge Era on one hand ICT has become a powerful tool, but for the most of the world population it still remains a dream. On the backdrop of digital divide School of Education of Yashawantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU, India) took up a challenge on one hand to keep pace with the speed with which ICT is moving ahead and on the other to bring up the target group (students) to such ICT literacy level, so that they would be able to reap ICT benefits. This process involved varied personnel from YCMOU and Study Center to students and applicants. The book sketches a journey on the path of diffusion of ICT innovations. Various faceys of this journey are discussed at length through four chapters. Each chapter illustrates journey and the state reached after a decade's struggle. All the bits of our efforts over a decade have been consolidated from holistic and research point of view. It is felt that, this book will be quite useful for the persons and institutions with digital immigrants and will give an opportunity to digital natives to peep into the grass root journey of digital immigrants. Thus it is a useful resource for each one working in the field of ICT.
