O knihe

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Burma or Myanmar, is the largest country in the mainland Southeast Asia. China is on the northeast border, Bangladesh on the west, India on the northwest and the Indian Ocean on the south. Majority of the population is Theravada Buddhists but a significant number of religions e.g. Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Chinese religions, Bahá'í religion,Mahayana Buddhism, traditional animistic beliefs and the Judaism are also practiced in Burma. Islam is a minority religion in Burma, practiced by 4% of the population, according to the Myanmar official statistics. However, according to a U.S. State Department's 2006 international religious freedom report, official statistics underestimate the non-Buddhist population which could be as high as 30%. Muslim leaders estimated that approximately 20 percent of the population was Muslim.
