The city of Kings and Queens had roared and refused injustice, they had sought to dealing with it on their own. It was a sorrowful moment as all Bulawayo dwellers stood hand in hand and walked in a peaceful protest. A couple of minutes later, heavy rains began pouring on the courageous civilians profusely. In no time they had become like pigeons whose feathers had been put off. The weather had also refused to have a watch on such a painful moment and it suddenly turned chilly. They all began shivering with the cold rain, but they kept their hands in each other's. The rain kept on pouring and a strong wind began shoving the Father Nkomo streets, but the civilians kept themselves in firm grip. They had really made up their minds after all. How could they even have sheltered themselves from rain while an innocent girl was struggling and dying in a deathbed. The wicked devils had casted a black spell on her and gotten her dreams shuttered.
