Biosorption is an efficient technique for the removal and recovery of heavy metal ions from aqueous solutions. This article evaluates the removal of cobalt (II) copper (II), and chromium (VI) ions from aqueous solutions using biowaste as adsorbents. The adsorption of chromium ions (VI) was performed on dried tea waste and dried pomegranate peel (DTW: DPP) as mixed adsorbent and bitter orange powder (BOP). Whereas, burned orange powder (BOP) and burned Iraqi palm tree powder used to adsorb cobalt (II) and copper (II) ions from aqueous solutions respectively.
