It is written in the common language of the time, and mirrors a culture that constantly denies itself. Yet just as every individual will some day stand alone, Josiah Young faces what confronts him day after day. And this is his past, his fears and fate of his soul. His past is the night of abuse. Living and dying, we can only attempt to explain how love is all that there is, and all that holds us together. Even when there is nothing to love, somehow it is love that sees us through. It is the workings of the divine that bring him to his knees.
