The general aim of this work is to investigate how the management process and the application of information services take place in the school libraries of the municipal and state public schools in Farias Brito - CE, while the specific objectives are: To reflect on the social and educational role of the school library in the context of information users; To analyse the performance of the school library contemplating possible information services.
