In this case, it was my dental hygienist who led me down the path of becoming a complete intellect again, after an almost full recovery from an ill-ness known as viral encephalitis, which is an injury to the brain, that may be fatal. I wanted to blame myself for every negative decision, but after an eight-year struggle in which my life had nearly been ended by encephalitis and the traumatic brain injury it caused, I wonder "Why me?".
