Up till now, the field of medical science and research has always believed that the ADHD is something which chidren outgrow yet, the truth is something else. In recent years, the Attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder cases, diagnosis of ADHD and medication for ADHD have climbed dramatically both in childhood and in adulthood while prompting some public-health officials to wonder if the condition is over-diagnosed. In the United States the rate of diagnosis has increased by an average of 3% annually between 1997 and 2006 - based on the findings of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
