It is used in many places including turf, lawns, rights-of-way, aquatic sites, forestry sites, and a variety of field, fruit and vegetable crops. It may also be used to regulate the growth of citrus plants.2,4-D Amine Selective Post-Emergent Herbicide is an effective post-emergent weed killer used to eliminate broad leaf weeds and brush within most grassy lawns various crop areas, and successfully controls unwanted aquatic weeds and trees. 2,4-D is an herbicide and secondarily a plant growth regulator. Formulations include esters, acids, and several salts, which vary in their chemical properties, environmental behavior, and to a lesser extent, toxicity.
