She has a longstanding involvement with and commitment to the people of The Holy Land, particularly in East Jerusalem and the Bethlehem area where she has many good friends. The purchase of this book will help pay to sponsor needy but able Palestinian youngsters obtain degrees which otherwise would be an impossibility for them. The Jeel Scholarship Fund is currently sponsoring two youngsters on nursing degrees and one who is training to be a doctor.
