This book gives the information on productive and reproductive performance of Nepalese cattle in farmers managed condition of subtropical climate of Nepal. This book primarily focuses on level of exotic inheritance required in local cattle of Nepal to maximize production without compromising it's adaptability measures. Result of this study was correlated with study of different author to verify the result in different condition. In addition, book give information on pedigree and performance recording system adopted in Nepal in dairy cattle evaluation system. This study also give future direction for progeny recording system more accurate and reliable for dairy animal evaluation for long term improvement of genetics of dairy cattle.
