The aim of the present work was to study the treatment pattern in the patients diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The total number of drugs the patient received during their treatment period 19.20% of antibiotics are given to the patients , 18.70% of Corticosteroids , 18.10% of Short acting beta -2 agonist , 17.20% of Inhaled corticosteroids , 15.50% Methyxanthines , 6.90% of Systemic corticosteroids, 4.10% of Long acting beta -2 agonist , 0.30% of Secretolytic agents. According to route of administration the percentage was calculated as 23.70% of oral administrated drug, 37.98% are parenterally administered, 38.32% are inhalations.
