Conservation technique is defined as any tillage and planting system that leaves less than 30% of crop stubble over the soil surface after sowing. Zero-tillage technology enhances the wheat yield as compared other tillage practices and facilitates less use of machinery and hence energy can be saved through less consumption of fuel.
