Where on one side the internet has connected the humans globally, on the other side it has brought inflictions on mankind in the form of its potential for being abused & causing addiction among its users. This book addresses the role that the knowledge regarding the Internet Addiction Disorder (IAD) can play in preventing the adolescents from being the victims of the vicious cycle of Internet Addiction Disorder. In this book, the author used a self-instructional module (SIM) to assess the pre-interventional and post-interventional IAD knowledge score of the adolescent students of Green Valley Educational Institute, Buchpora, Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. After imparting knowledge regarding IAD, the study subjects showed marvellous improvement in their knowledge related to IAD. Thus it was concluded that SIM was effective in imparting knowledge related to IAD amongst the adolescent study subjects.
