In these environments, students are faced with challenges and puzzles designed to teach specific concepts, encourage problem solving and enhance collaborative skills. Through a thematic plot, participants must work together to solve puzzles and advance the story.These educational experiences can have applications in a wide variety of settings, from school classrooms to corporate training programs.The main advantage of escape games lies in their ability to engage students in an active and participatory way, promoting knowledge retention and critical thinking. In addition, they encourage creativity and decision making, since participants must make decisions in real time to advance in the game.In the present work, a literature review on gamification and escape rooms is carried out and an escape game is designed for the module of Anatomophysiology and basic pathology.
