O knihe

Impotent Ire is the first collection of the author's poetry.

The reader will find poems from a wide spectrum of themes, including personal tragedies, emotional pain, women's issues, plight of the poor, and the socio-political scene in modern India. She employs sharp, and unrepentant language in her works to bring out the malignant contrasts in the society.

But this far from completes her canvas. Intermittent between the grimy and aflame world she brings to the fore, the reader will find that universal voice which pulls the human soul to poetry at the first place: love. Or rather, the unending, aching search in the absence thereof.

Every now and then, her poems echo Auden's timeless words: "Where love was innocent, being far from cities.
