The probability of Japan going nuclear is based on several interrelated logical bases. Through drawing a comparison between the historical and current strategic environments, it may be concluded that Japan might be an eligible candidate to join the nuclear club in the near future if the current international anarchy and regional strategic environment continue to threaten Japan's security and strategic interests.
