Living Machine is a trademark and brand name for a form of biological wastewater treatment designed to mimic the cleansing functions of wetlands developed and marketed by Worrell Water Technologies, LC in Charlottesville, Va. The trademark Living Machine is owned by Dharma Group, LC, the parent company of Worrell Water Technologies. They are intensive bioremediation systems that can also produce beneficial by-products such as edible and ornamental plants, and fish.
