The sense of loss and isolation imposed by the pandemic, and the grieving, is represented in the opening section. This is followed by a commentary on the early months of the invasion of Ukraine viewed through the lens provided by images and snippets on Twitter. The closing section provides responses to a series of events that took place in the United States over the course of that same Spring and Summer, some of these also devastating.
