Musical concepts are presented one at a time, with examples and exercises provided in the Appendices. Students then put these new concepts into practice as they learn and perform the pieces, further exploring and assimilating the new ideas and skills.
Book Five delves deeper into the concept of musical interpretation through tempo variations. You'll also become familiar with the Da Capo sign, triplets and key signatures with several sharps and flats. Although this book can be used as a repertoire book, the preceding books in the series should be referred to in order to ensure a solid understanding of the musical concepts required for these pieces.
