The music degree programme at UERN is one of the main programmes responsible for training music teachers in the west and upper west of Rio Grande do Norte, covering a large region, including part of the state of Ceará. The course has already trained more than 100 music teachers who are qualified to work in music teaching, especially in the basic education network, which is one of the main focuses of the UERN music course.
