Cable bolts are flexible tendons composed of multi-wire strand which are normally used together with rock bolts in reinforcing rock masses. Cable bolts function by applying compressive force and shear-resistance to rock masses and rock joints, thereby enhancing the integrity and stability of the reinforced rock body.
