In exploring this investigation, the argument here is hinged on the fact that to properly ascertain the depth of female subjugation in such a traditional society, a researcher must, as a necessity, employ also, the tropes of Cultural Criticism. The rationale behind this proves that through the lens of cultural criticism, the text can be better appreciated through the traditional theory of feminism.
