I am 26 years old. I am from San Diego, CA. I lived in San Diego I believe since I was born. I entered the Foster Care System at the age of 12. I went to 12 different Group Homes and 2 Foster Homes. I exit the system at the age of 18. On December of 2005, I first found out I was HIV+. Being fresh out of High School and Foster Care, I thought my life was over! Since then I have been fighting for Foster Kids, LGBTQIA, and HIV/AIDS. I refuse to be a victim! I am a Survivor and proud of it!!! In 2011 I graduated from Kaplan Higher Education as a Medical Assistant. I teach Classes on LGBTQIA, HIV/AIDS, and Foster Care. I go to many LGBTQIA Conferences to gain and get more experience. I have started an HIV/AIDS Support Group as of November 2013.
