Transport system of Makhachkala agglomeration

The book considers the current problems of transport infrastructure of Makhachkala agglomeration both in general and from the perspective of territorial planning. The basis of the work is the material of JSC "Russian Institute of Urban Planning and Investment Development "Giprogor", of which the author of this book is a staff member. The source data for the study were materials of the executive authorities of the Republic of Dagestan, its individual municipalities; statistical data of Rosstat; the results of the transport survey of the agglomeration territory. The materials of the book were part of the major work on the creation of the Scheme of territorial planning of Makhachkala agglomeration in 2015-2018 and have not been published elsewhere in full. The book may be of interest to the representatives of the authorities and the scientific community interested in the current problems of transport infrastructure development of the rapidly growing urban agglomeration.
