After the death of her grandmother, she finds herself the sole remaining member of her family. At the same time she acquires a box belonging to her grandmother that had for many years been stashed in a friend's attic. The contents of the box become the catalyst for Audrey's quest.

We meet Marginell, Filbert, Jasper, Violet and Cliff. We attend the Truckers' Chapel, survive a tornado and fall in love with a dog named Mule.
Addison Falls is the first novel in the Addison Falls series.
