It includes a selection of historical sources on nonviolence-ranging from the Bhagavad-Gita to the Bible-as well as a wide range of writings by authors such as Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Jr., and Nelson Mandela, who have contributed to both the theory and the practice of nonviolence.
