Il est bon de dire que ces additions ne concernent que la période s'arrêtant à fin 1907, et qu'il n'a été tenu aucun compte des portraits parus, a part ou dans les textes, depuis cette époque c'est - à-dire qu'il n'est nullement dans l'intention de l'auteur de faire un supplément à l'ouvrage.
