Chinese Language Proficiency Tests with five language proficiency difficulty levels (TOCFL) in the Republic of China differ significantly from their counterparts in Mainland China (HSK). For a number of reasons, textbooks to prepare for the five different language proficiency difficulty levels of this test are difficult to obtain in Western countries.
