He paid a visit to each of the men, using trickery and even wizardy, that would later lead them to one another. Neither men could explain what was happening right before their eyes that they soon concluded that the happenings had to be coming from a deceased soul. The men found their way to each other by arranging a past life regression by hypnosis. While under hypnosis, they found out they were a gang in Hickory Hills, Viriginia, in their past lives and attempted to kidnap Lily Tatum for ransom. Accidentally killing Lily, they buried her in a remote area, leaving Tatum to an endless search for his true love.
