O knihe

It's the early 20th century, anti-colonial Civil-War is brewing in China against the Qing Dynasty, from the fallen Imperial Monarchy rises a National Republic founded by Sun Yat-Sen, this Republic is under threat by oppotunists seeking to rise to Power causing the country to fracture into Warlordism, Sun Yat-Sen's 'Three Principles' is halted by Chiang Kai-Shek that leads the Republic through Authoritarianism seeking to unite China through the 'One-China Policy', he breifly Allies himself with the Communists to defeat the other Warlords and unite China in whole, then suddenly after securing the North, Chiang betrays the Alliance killing the Communists in Shanghai, this sparked another Civil-War between two parties, Kuomintang and the Communist Party, these antagonisms halted during the Second Sino-Japanese War through the organisation of the Second United Front, this Organisation disbanded after the War was over and the 'War of Liberation' continued with the defeat of the Kuomintang after they retreated to the Taiwan Province to continue their struggle to rule the mainland, or submit and unify under the now established 'People's Republic of China'. Find out more about China's history in this deep analytical Book.
