O knihe

The book sets out to discover and explain different threads of patterns and processes of Nigerian migration movements to Ireland. This accomplished book offers a new framework agenda for migration movements to and within Europe. In so doing, shows that people migrate for various reasons other than the idea of a new life or the search for Promised Land. The book argues that in the context of migration movements to and within Europe, there are other clear cut motives for migration. Written by an experienced researcher with a background in geography, the book interpret and analyse the patterns and processes of Nigerian migration movements to Dublin, Ireland in the context of individual migrant experiences. Thus, providing a rich understanding of the migration movements for the reader to wander and stroll in. From feminist perspective, the book argues that a true understanding of the migration flows cannot be gained without taking gender into account.
