Playfulness in the elderly provides the opportunity to awaken in them joy, motor development, social and socioemotional life, with games that would help stimulate cognitive thinking and a number of motor skills necessary for these people. The work was written with the purpose of making known the experiences accumulated in the area of physical education, whose community projection is carried out with the attention to the elderly, protecting and stimulating in this group dimensions such as equality of treatment and rights, because it assumes homogeneity, with a community, associative and participative approach as a person and citizen with a functionalist perspective. Here we find experiences of the author with this community, carrying out physical activities, integration in events and sports practices with the purpose of reducing or reversing physical and psychological problems that accompany the aging process.
