Anthony 'Tony" Thornton is a well-respected college student. Kyra Thompson is a beautiful, street-smart girl with a bright future in the modeling industry. Their lives are forever changed on a hot summer day in Boston, when Kyra witnesses a gang-related shooting at the African Pride Festival.
