Life throws us many challenges that we often think we can't handle. Taking care of someone with Frontotemporal Dementia was not an easy job. With perseverance and determination, I found the courage to get through it by finding humor in the simplest things. This is our journey which is personal and intimate. Unlike Alzheimer's that steals ones memory, FTD steals who we are. Although the Dragon reared it's ugly head many times, I did not slay the Dragon, but I did survive with the help of family, friends and caregivers.
