Disgusted, horrified and still traumatized by her nightmare in Central America, she quits her job and vanishes -- from her friends, from her family, from everyone. Enter Bill Wade, his curiosity about a colleague he scarcely knew becomes an obsession, Wade launches a one-man search for Laura.
