The cornerstone and foundation of TRUTH has not, throughout the history of philosophy, ever been stated. The cornerstone and foundation of truth is, I think, like & unlike, combined with repetition. Were there no repetition, or, at least, approximate and apparent repetition of occurrences, there could be no truth. Were there no repetition for perception to get hold of in terms of varying qualities, there could be no recognition, no building of knowledge, no truth. Instead, all would be totally fragmentary, unordered, utterly chaotic, and no knowledge could adhere to that condition. In fact, there would be no world nor universe in that condition. Like & unlike, combined with repetition of occurrences, is the foundation of truth, not merely in terms of formal logic (validity being equivalent to truth therein), but also in terms of the world (or the universe, so called, in all its compartments, complexities, and operations) at large. In a nutshell, no like no truth; no unlike no truth; no repetition no truth; or, in other words, apperceived, noticed, repetition of like and unlike is the foundation of truth.
