Meg, William and Lizzie are reluctantly holidaying in an ancient Welsh long-house, a stone's throw from a ruined medieval castle. Whilst they find themselves extending their stay in the old house and sprucing up the dated vintage décor, they discover an old journal and become caught up in an exciting plot to find a mysterious underground tunnel. As the children slowly warm to the charms of un-modernized living, little do they realize they are on the threshold of an unforgettable adventure to find the legendary lost treasure buried deep within the Welsh hills. C.V. Thomas is a new Welsh writer inspired by dusty books, vintage pursuits and a love of literature. She is stirred by poetry and her Welsh surroundings. A busy wife and mum of three, she is presently in the throes of writing two further children's novels and plotting a murder mystery.
