The insurance sector in Pune District is highly competitive, necessitating skilled professionals. This study examines the effectiveness of in-house and outsourced training programs in local life insurance companies. It employs a mixed-methods approach, gathering data from various insurance firms and analysing quantitative metrics like employee satisfaction and productivity alongside qualitative insights from interviews and discussions.The research identifies the types, durations, delivery methods, and evaluation mechanisms of training programs. Quantitative analysis, including regression, assesses performance indicators, while qualitative methods like thematic analysis uncover strengths, weaknesses, and challenges of both training approaches.Results will aid companies in choosing optimal training strategies and offer recommendations for program optimization. The study addresses a research gap by focusing on Pune District, acknowledging the importance of tailored in-house programs and the expertise outsourced ones provide. It evaluates factors influencing training success, such as trainer qualifications and support provided.
